Yosuke Mineno

When did you start working for Roland DG?

Hi everyone!
I’m Yosuke Mineno, based at DGSHAPE’s headquarters in Hamamatsu, Japan.
I joined Roland DG Corporation in 2007 after graduating from university.

What roles did you play?

I began my career in sales, working with inkjet printers and 3D products, before moving into business development, primarily supporting the growth of our dental business in the EMEA region. Since 2016, I have been involved in product planning at DGSHAPE.

Why do you like working in DGSHAPE?

I truly enjoy being part of DGSHAPE. One of the things I value most is the opportunity to work globally with colleagues, partners, key opinion leaders, and, of course, our customers.

Write a funny anecdote about you

During a business trip to France, I met a new colleague for the first time and asked her name. She replied, “Enchantée,” so naturally, I assumed that was her name!
I called her “Enchantée” several times throughout the day, and each time she kindly responded with a smile. The next morning, I told another French colleague that I had met someone named Enchantée. He immediately burst out laughing and explained that “Enchantée” actually means “Nice to meet you.”
Thanks to that experience, I can now greet French-speaking people with confidence—and, hopefully, with perfect French pronunciation!
