In connection with the internal event, The Day 2026, our subsidiary DGSHAPE also held a “DGSHAPE DAY 2026.”
The event provided a place to state goals for the next fiscal year (2026) and, looking toward 2030, for employees to share their visions for the future of DGSHAPE.
We also worked to create a system that enables each department to collaborate on their roles and responsibilities to improve the value of products, services, and customers.
On October 2, DGSHAPE President Toyama took the stage at Roland DG headquarters in Hamamatsu, Japan, and looked back since taking office in July of last year. He said DGSHAPE has been laying the foundation for the future on a global scale, including establishing a subsidiary in India, setting up an overseas organization, and expanding into new sales areas.
In light of the fact that the next fiscal year will be the 10th anniversary of DGSHAPE’s founding, he communicated a message of “creating the future of digital dentistry together”. He revealed the vision for DGSHAPE and the customer value we aim to deliver in the future.
Employees listened carefully and shared the future vision of where DGSHAPE is heading.
Held in Europe and the United States
DGSHAPE DAY 2026 was also held overseas.
The first venue was in Italy, where DGSHAPE‘s dental business began.
It was a valuable opportunity for sales, product managers, service, and marketing representatives from across Europe to come together and deepen their understanding of the activities they typically work on in different countries.
At the venue, they spoke frankly about the voices of customers heard in each market, the challenges they feel in their daily work, and their expectations for DGSHAPE growth. By sharing experiences gained in different cultures and environments, a common understanding was fostered for opportunities to grow DGSHAPE, and many new insights were born for the next initiative.
The event was then held in the United States, where it became a valuable opportunity for members from the Americas who usually connect online to meet face-to-face. At the event site, real voices from daily customer interactions, educational activities, and region-specific success stories were shared, and the sense of unity among colleagues working towards the same goal was strengthened. After the session, participants watched a comedy show for team building in an American way.
DGSHAPE DAY in Europe and the United States was also attended by Toyama and others from the head office in Japan.
It was a meaningful time to meet and exchange opinions with the local teams, which further strengthened cooperation across countries and departments, and led to mutual learning and connections required to move towards the future.
“One DGSHAPE”
Held in three regions, DGSHAPE DAY 2026 was a place for members from around the world to gather and share the values that DGSHAPE delivers. As opinions were exchanged across countries and departments, it was an opportunity to realize that the positive attitude of “creating DGSHAPE with our own hands” is indeed alive and well in various regions.
The sense of unity created through these dialogues provides a solid foundation for moving forward as “One DGSHAPE.”
We will continue to deepen our global cooperation and deliver better products and services to customers worldwide.
