Hamamatsu, Japan, February 27, 2025 – DGSHAPE Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Roland DG Corporation and a leading provider of digital fabrication tools worldwide, today announced the establishment of DGSHAPE DENTAL INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED (“SDI”) as a sales subsidiary in India. Operations will begin in March.

The opening ceremony was held at the local office on February 11th. Several DGSHAPE officers, including DGSHAPE president Junichi Toyama, participated in the ceremony, and prayed in traditional Indian ritual for future success.
SDI was established through a 1% equity investment by Roland DG and a 99% equity investment by DGSHAPE.
Junichi Toyama, DGSHAPE president, and representative director stated:
「In recent years, DGSHAPE has been growing steadily in emerging countries with the rapid increase in demand for digitalization. As a first step for further market development in these countries, we have established a new branch in India which has a high market growth rate. We aim to strengthen our global brand by expanding our market share in emerging countries.」
Keiichi Hayasaka, SDI president stated:
「India’s dental market has been growing rapidly and we estimate that its market size will increase in the future to be comparable with that of Japan. We established a local branch to serve this increasing demands, reinforce customer acquisition, and expand our sales.」
