Although I was a practicing dentist 12 years ago, I realized after five years that my true passion lies in the world of dental laboratories, especially in metal-free fixed restoration materials like zirconia and lithium disilicate.<\/div>
Having witnessed the challenges faced by my father’s analog lab, I quickly recognized the benefits of transitioning to digital technology.<\/strong><\/div>

Today, I am the founder and Chief Technician Officer of Zirmon Dental Atelier<\/strong>, and I work full-time as a ceramist. Could you tell us the advantages of dental CAD\/CAM over the analogue system?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I have observed my father running his analog dental lab for over 30 years.<\/p>

One of the major drawbacks of the analog system is its inability to reproduce the same design consistently. For example, if a casting fails during the production of PFM restorations, they must remake the wax from scratch. In contrast, with a digital CAD\/CAM system, if one restoration fails either in the patient\u2019s mouth or during production, we can simply retrieve the file and resume production immediately<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
