We established our own dental clinic in Japan in 2001<\/strong>.<\/p>

Since 2006, we have also operated an in-house dental laboratory within the clinic<\/strong>, allowing our doctors and dental technicians to work closely together.<\/p>

Could you tell us the advantages of dental CAD\/CAM over the analogue system?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The CAD\/CAM system can handle most types of restorations, and we’ve found that it delivers particularly superior results for composite resin crowns under the National Healthcare Insurance.<\/p>

We have been using the DWX-50 since 2010. Initially, we considered installing a milling machine capable of milling “Trinia”(fiber-reinforced composite resin) because we were focused on de-metallization and were particularly interested in this material.<\/p>

Ultimately, we chose the DWX 5-axis because we were highly attracted to its ability to mill both hybrid resin and zirconia.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We are exploring ways to improve the productivity of temporary crowns and bridges in our in-clinic lab using an intraoral scanner (IOS). After scanning, we can immediately begin production without creating a physical model. The precise milling results in a high-quality surface, making the polishing and adjustment process much easier.<\/p>
